Q. "Will you watch me?"
A. I'm only watching you If I like your gallery, or If I see that you're trying to improve. Don't even ask me to watch you.

Q."Can I watch you?"
A. Of course you can, everyone that feels like doing it can do it!

Q. "Will you consider joining this club?"
A. If I feel like it only, but you can't ask me to do that.

Q. "Wanna be friends?"
A. No... Not to be rude but you -can't- ASK someone to be your friend. Do you do that to people IRL? Friendships are formed unconsiously, talk to someone and see if you click. If you click, thats good. If you don't click... well not everyone have same interests/get along.

Q. "Do you use any instant messengers/wanna chat?"
A. It's already in my profile, you can add me, I don't care, but don't get upset If I never reply, I'm always busy and I just talk to close friends. I start talking to ppl in the first time If they seem to be cool, If you don't to me, normally I don't reply. Sorry If you feel that you are of those xD;

Q. "Do you have a DS/Wii friend code?"
A. No, I don't have a DS.

Q. "Where are you from/ how old are you?"
A. Look at the top of my page or my DA ID. The info is there. But sometimes I change that when I'm hyper xD the truth is, I'm from Argentina and I'm 19 years old.

Q. "How come you won't answer my note(s)?!
A. If I don't reply it's because 1) it was obvious 2) If you're being emo or something, I'M NEVER GOING TO ANSWER YOU.

Q. "I think I've seen your stuff somewhere before. Do you post your art elsewhere?"
A. Only on deviantART (Sammet-Metal), probably SheezyART (Sammet Metal) and probably on FurAffinity (KaiAres) If you have seen my art in another site, surely it's stolen. ALSO you maybe can find me in other sites, probably I have accounts there, but I never post something, only in the sites I mentioned before.

Q. "Will you draw my character?"
A. Never, I don't take requests, unless If I feel like it, but those are always for my friends. You may ask me for an Art-Trade, I like doing 'em (I take so long, but I do my part) but If I never reply, it's easy, I don't like your art. Sorry If it sounds rude, but I prefer you to read this before I tell you that directly.

Q. "Will your character go out with mine?"
A. No. But friends can draw couples including my character/s If they asked me before.

Q. "What kind of animal is Torrid?"
A. Original concept: Dragon. Sonic concept: Hedgehog.

Q. "Well how come you make so many gifts for people, but you won't draw for ME?!"
A. Because I don't have to. And besides you DON'T ASK for gifts. Thats just really rude...

Q."How come you won't do a trade with me?!!"
A. It's easy! I don't like your art! If you see that I'm not watching you, you better don't ask for an AT because surely I wouldn't like to do one. (I mean for ppl that watches me but I never watched 'em back, sorry) And for ppl that visited me, but they never watched me, they ask me for an AT, I visit them and I like their galleries, I'd be pleased to make one with 'em

Q."Will you ever take commissions?
A. I'm planning to someday start to take subscription commissions, since I still haven't a credit card.

Q."Can you teach me how to draw?"
A. I always can give you some tips, If you feel like asking me, but don't ever ask for tutorials, I just don't make 'em.

Q."Can I use your art for my personal websites or upload it on da or elsewhere?
A. Get my PERMISSION first! Although I am unkeen of it being on youtube, even if you DO give me credit. PLEASE come to me first!

Q."Can I use your character(s) to roleplay with in forums, etc.?"
A. No. Thats just creepy, WHY do you want to use MY character? And How do I know your gonna -abuse- the character or not, unless I go to the forum and see for myself? No, sorry not keen on it. Use your own characters please.

Q."Can I draw you something?"
A. Everyone that feels like doing that, can! I'd feel honored If you draw my character/s

Q. "Can you look at/tell me what you think of [link]?!"
A. DON'T EVER ASK ME THAT.

Q. "Will you critique my art?"
A. This is kinda hard for me to do, as I am NOT a very critty person. I do point things out sometimes, othertimes I don't. I have critted someone's work but I am always worried I will offend the person with my opinion. So please understand if I feel a little iffy doing so.

Q. "Your watermarks are ugly! can you remove/change them please?"
A. I always use deviantART watermarks when they are available to use 'em. But I usually put the link of my profile, or (c)=Sammet-Metal. I always do that and you can't tell me to don't.

Q. "Hi Sammet-Metal/May I call you Tori, Mel (or whatever)?!!! :3 <3"
A. You can call me whatever you feel like calling me xD I don't even care If you keep calling me Sammet-Metal, normally when ppl doesn't know me, instead calling me Sammet-Metal they just calls me Sammet (which I find it funny xD) for short.

Q. "What programs do you use to make your digital art?"
A. Paint Tool SAI, Adobe Photoshop CS3, and mspaint xD

Q. "Why are there so many faqs in your journal?!"
A. It saves me a lot of hassle and awkward notes and messages. I realize some of the answers are kind of blunt, it's not my intention to offend anyone with this, it simply helps keep me from being asked the same things and having to give essentially the same responses over and over again. It's as much for your convenience as it is for mine.

Extra projects thing

Progressive project
This project is apart of the rest of my projects because it's a personal one. Well, you all know already how is really my character "Torrid" and I don't think that you all knows about her story. Well, her story is actually my project. About what consist this project? Well, not so many artists does one for their character/s, but I do. I'm working on this since 2006, but I've had this idea for too many years and now, that at least I think I'm improving, I'm finally 'kinda' able to show the project I have on mind. Next that you're going to read it's a mode of prologue. This project, still nameless, consist on a life of a dragon creature with fantastic powers that lived around the middle age in her own kingdom, named Kaileena Hellfire, under the name of "Torrid" (Name that was given to her when she has born under her dragon form). This kingdom is on a place on planet Earth, but invisible for their not habitants. This is a place of fantasy. She, with her twin brother by her side, Khailien Hellfire mostly known as "Cyanide", tries to defend it from an exterior attack from the future and the kingdom finally gets defeated. This was what I call the first era, "Past Fantasy". At the age of 2007, hers and her brother's body rests were found by other creatures that are going to be mentioned on future pictures I'm working already, then the dragon twins were revived; This continent needed at least someone from the Real Family to be his leader again. The other creatures kept looking for the twins' parents, without find them. For that age, the whole continent were recovering itself from the damage suffered in the middle age. At the age of 2009 the kingdom was completely recovered also the whole continent, but these twins has now a new mission, to find their parents and take revenge of that war they suffered. This era is what I call "Actual Fantasy". A new war is coming, at the age of 2109, without keeping apart the middle age's manners and taking the future era's new technology, the twins are ready to fight against the forces of the future that are coming to destroy the kingdom again. This was the third and last era, "Future Fantasy". Future Fantasy has no end, because, in my mind, fantasy shouldn't have an end, so this is another reason of why I say that it's a progressive project.
